would highly recommend Eastside Boot Camp to anyone who is looking
for a fun, and effective way to work out. Having an infant and a
full-time job leaves very little time to squeeze in exercise, that
is why early morning camp session is perfect for me. I have been
working out on and off all my life, but never had seen such a quick
progress in such a short period of time before joining Eastside
Boot Camp. There is plenty of variety that makes it fun and doable
for all fitness levels. Besides, nothing compares to how you feel
stretching and watching sun rising after an outdoor workout.

few months back I had almost given up on myself. As a mother of three
kids and no time for me, I thought for sure I was destined to be overweight
and unhappy. I kept making excuses to avoid working out. I was always
too tired. One day I stumbled across Adventure Boot camp while reading
a newspaper. I remember the ad saying that it was a jump start to
a new body. I was scared and excited at the same time. With the the
excellent training and advice provided by Kimbrough I am happy to
say that I have lost 30 lbs and gained a whole new life! I start my
day with so much energy, which has made the whole family happier.
I am stronger, faster and in better shape than before I had my children!!!

Kimbrough
is so great about adjusting each individuals training to meet their
needs and challenge them to their potential. She always comes with
a positive attitude and inspires all of us to do our best and push
ourselves beyond anything we would do for ourselves on our own. Working
out with the other women has been inspirational as well. We all come
together and encourage each other. The class truly is inspiring and
invigorating. The nutritional guidelines Kimbrough provides adds another
dimension to the program. Being outside every day sun or snow is such
a treat! I can’t think of a better way to start the day.

Camp is a tough, fun and very addictive work out group. Fabulous ladies
of all fitness levels to work out with and encourage one another.
I can already feel changes in my stamina, energy levels and overall

20 pounds on the program! I love how Kimbrough does a different workout
everyday so you never get bored. By the end of each week you really
feel like you have worked every major (and minor) body part! I recently

Turning
50 this year was difficult for one reason. The person I saw in the
mirror was not who I saw in my head. I wanted to be able to move without
hurting, run without getting out of breath, feel like I use to feel.
I heard about Adventure Boot Camp from my sister and decided to give
it a try. Truly I thought if this doesn’t kill me it will make
me stronger. It made me stronger. I have started my 4th session with
Kimbrough and have had wonderful results. 15 pound weight loss, many
inches and am proud to say I’m 50. Such a great start to my
day, get the blood going, always finding something to laugh about
with women who are there for the same reason. Kimbrough makes you
want to work hard for her and especially for yourself. I’m hooked…
Tami Peterson, Issaquah..I am the mother of a 7 month old and a 22
month old. Having two closely spaced pregnancies really took a toll
on my body.
I still had baby weight from the first baby when I became pregnant
with the second. I had lost all confidence in my body mechanics and
felt weak, unstable, and uncoordinated, not to mention FAT. I joined
the Eastside Boot Camp because it was something new, it was something
finite (I only had to commit for a month. If I did not like it, no
big loss…), and it was early enough that my husband could care
for the babies if they woke up.
The first week was a killer. I felt like I had been hit by a truck!
When we were tested at the end of the first week, I could speed walk
a mile in 14:55. I felt there was no way I could walk any faster than
that, but at the end of the month, my time was 13:29! Also, at the
beginning of the month, I could do 14 pathetic-looking pushups. At
the end of the month, I was able to do 34 solid ones. I felt stronger
and even though I had not lost weight, my clothes fit better. These
fantastic results coupled with the unexpected and wonderful camaraderie
I felt with the other woman who were able to consistently get up at
“dark o’clock”, convinced me to go a second month.
I was able to run for my timed run the beginning of the second month.
I had done some additional running outside of the boot camp and
clocked 10:50. Pushups at the start of the second month was 37.
At the end of the month, the timed run was 10:37; pushups were 48!!!
I am completely hooked on this program. Imagine your workout done
before many people even get up! And being in the fresh air with
the mountain for inspiration, compare that to the hamster treadmill
in a sweaty gym…. there is no going back! Kimbrough varies
the routine so that we never know what to expect each day. No boredom
here!

This
is an attempt to describe how Eastside Bootcamp has affected me. I
just cannot explain why I look forward to getting up at 4:30 to drive
25 minutes to be at bootcamp at 5:30. Is it the stunning view of Mt.
Si??? Is it the absolute commitment of our leader Kimbrough Kendall????
Is in the camaraderie of the group attending bootcamp????...perhaps
all of these but I must say that Ms Kimbrough Kendall is the "super
glue" I encourage ANYONE considering this program to DO IT! You
will NEVER....EVER...want to stop. It is just great. I have no superlatives
to describe how great it is....JUST DO IT!

I
started bootcamp in mid Sept 2004 hoping that this would be just want
I needed to kick myself back into gear. I have not exercised on a
regular basis (except for a couple of weeks here and there) for the
past 4 years. I had previously taught aerobics classes for over 6
years prior to my 4 year haitus. I have to say that Eastside Adventure
Bootcamp has far exceeded my expectations. By the end of the first
4 weeks I had dropped an entire size in clothing and my endurance
level was greatly improved. I have just completed my 2nd bootcamp
and am excited to start the next session. I can't imagine not doing
this. It has given me a new appreciation for running and exercising
outdoors. I love it!
